1.1 pretickit is an online ticketing platform that facilitates the listing, promotion, sale, and purchase of event tickets by connecting independent event organizers with attendees. pretickit acts solely as a technology service provider and marketplace intermediary and is not the creator, host, promoter, or organizer of any events listed on the platform. As such, pretickit assumes no responsibility or liability for the execution, quality, legality, or safety of any event.
1.2 By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using pretickit in any capacity, you expressly acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
1.3 Use of the platform is subject to all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of pretickit complies with such laws, including but not limited to consumer protection, tax, licensing, and event safety regulations.
1.4 pretickit reserves the right to interpret, enforce, and apply these Terms at its sole discretion, including taking action against users who violate the spirit as well as the letter of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Organizers must be at least 18 years old and possess the full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.
2.1.1 By registering, organizers warrant and represent that they have the full authority to enter into and comply with these Terms on behalf of themselves and/or any business, entity, or organization they represent.
2.1.2 Organizers assume full legal responsibility for all aspects of events they create, including but not limited to permits, insurance, safety compliance, tax obligations, licensing, and adherence to venue regulations.
2.2 Organizers must submit accurate, complete, and verifiable personal, banking, identification, and business information when requested.
2.2.1 Failure to provide accurate or complete information may result in delayed payouts, restricted functionality, suspension, or permanent termination of the account without liability to pretickit.
2.2.2 pretickit reserves the right to verify user information through third-party services, financial institutions, or regulatory bodies and may request additional documentation at any time.
2.3 Attendees must create a valid account and provide accurate personal details when purchasing tickets.
2.3.1 Attendees are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account.
2.3.2 Any misrepresentation, fraudulent activity, or provision of false information may result in ticket cancellation, denial of entry, or account suspension without refund.
3. Organizer Account & Verification
3.1 All organizers are required to complete identity and business verification procedures before any payouts are processed.
3.1.1 Verification may include, but is not limited to, identity verification, business registration checks, tax compliance validation, and bank account authentication.
3.2 pretickit may request supporting documentation including business registration certificates, bank confirmation letters, government-issued identification, proof of address, or evidence of event ownership or authorization.
3.2.1 Organizers must respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe; failure to do so may result in account restrictions, event delisting, or payout delays.
3.3 Failure to provide requested documentation, or submission of fraudulent or misleading documentation, may result in withholding of funds, suspension, or permanent termination.
3.3.1 pretickit reserves the absolute right to approve, reject, or revoke verification status at its sole discretion without obligation to provide detailed reasoning.
4. Event Listings & Responsibilities
4.1 Organizers are solely responsible for ensuring that all event information provided on the platform is accurate, complete, and up to date, including but not limited to date, time, venue, pricing, capacity, and access requirements.
4.1.1 Event content must not be false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, or in violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.
4.2 Any modifications to event details after publication must be promptly communicated and updated through pretickit systems or support channels.
4.2.1 Failure to update material changes (such as venue, timing, or pricing) may result in user disputes, liability, or platform enforcement actions.
4.3 Organizers bear full responsibility for event execution, including attendee communication, safety measures, staffing, security, emergency planning, and regulatory compliance.
4.3.1 While pretickit may provide communication tools, delivery of notifications is not guaranteed, and ultimate responsibility remains with the organizer.
4.4 Listing fraudulent, deceptive, unauthorized, or illegal events is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal, account termination, forfeiture of funds, and legal action.
4.4.1 pretickit reserves the right to remove or suspend any event listing without prior notice if deemed risky, suspicious, or non-compliant.
5. Ticket Sales Logic & Cut-Off
5.1 Tickets remain available for purchase until the event concludes or until otherwise configured by the organizer.
5.1.1 Organizers are responsible for configuring accurate ticket sale windows and ensuring they reflect actual event access policies.
5.2 Events are automatically archived after the scheduled end time, and ticket sales will cease accordingly.
5.2.1 Example: an event starting at 18:00 and lasting 3 hours will automatically close ticket sales at 21:00 unless otherwise configured.
5.3 Organizers are strictly prohibited from manipulating ticket availability, pricing, or inventory in a deceptive or fraudulent manner.
5.3.1 pretickit reserves the right to monitor, investigate, and suspend accounts exhibiting unusual or suspicious sales patterns.
6. Payments, Fees & Payouts
6.1 Payouts to organizers will only be processed after the successful completion of the event and subject to verification, fraud checks, and compliance review.
6.2 Fees are generally charged to attendees and may include payment processing fees, service charges, platform fees, or other applicable costs as determined by pretickit.
6.2.1 Additional fees may be incurred in cases of event modifications, ticket increases, or operational adjustments.
6.3 Organizers may be charged or held financially liable in cases where incorrect, misleading, or incomplete event information results in disputes, refunds, or operational costs.
6.4 Organizers are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their banking and payout details; pretickit is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect information.
6.5 pretickit reserves the right to delay, withhold, or offset payouts in cases of suspected fraud, disputes, chargebacks, or breaches of these Terms.
6.5.1 Investigations may include transaction reviews, user behavior analysis, and document verification, and may take an indefinite period where necessary.
7. Refunds & Cancellations
7.1 All ticket sales are final and non-refundable except as expressly stated herein.
7.2 Refunds will only be issued in cases where an event is cancelled or materially postponed by the organizer.
7.3 Attendees must submit refund requests within 48 hours of receiving official cancellation notification.
7.4 Organizers are required to clearly disclose refund policies, timelines, and conditions on event listings.
7.4.1 pretickit may facilitate refund processing but does not assume liability for organizer failure to honor refund obligations.
7.4.2 Administrative, processing, or third-party fees may be non-refundable unless required by law.
8. Ticket Validity
8.1 Each ticket issued contains a unique QR or barcode and is valid for a single entry unless otherwise specified.
8.2 Any duplication, resale (where prohibited), transfer abuse, or unauthorized sharing of tickets may result in invalidation without refund.
8.3 Users are prohibited from attempting to bypass, reverse-engineer, or manipulate ticket validation systems.
8.3.1 pretickit reserves the right to modify validation technologies and protocols at any time to enhance security and fraud prevention.
9. Prohibited Actions
9.1 Creating or promoting fraudulent or deceptive events or tickets.
9.2 Providing false, misleading, or stolen personal or banking information.
9.3 Operating duplicate or unauthorized accounts.
9.4 Attempting to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or compromise platform systems or security.
9.5 Engaging in any illegal, unethical, or harmful conduct in connection with the platform.
9.5.1 pretickit reserves the right to report violations to law enforcement authorities and cooperate fully with investigations.
10. Chargebacks & Fraud
10.1 Payments subject to dispute, reversal, or chargeback may be temporarily or permanently withheld.
10.2 Excessive or repeated chargebacks may result in account suspension, termination, or financial penalties.
10.3 pretickit actively monitors and reports fraudulent or suspicious activity to relevant authorities.
10.3.1 Organizers are financially and legally responsible for chargebacks arising from misrepresentation, service failure, or disputes.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
11.1 pretickit collects, processes, and stores personal and financial data solely for operational purposes including verification, payment processing, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
11.2 All data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and stored using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
11.3 Users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where permitted by law.
11.3.1 pretickit reserves the right to retain necessary records for compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory obligations.
12. Platform Rights
12.1 pretickit reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms or poses a risk to the platform or its users.
12.2 Events deemed suspicious, non-compliant, or high-risk may be removed without prior notice.
12.3 pretickit may request additional documentation or information at any time to ensure ongoing compliance.
12.3.1 Platform functionality may be limited or revoked for unverified or non-compliant users at pretickit’s discretion.
13. Intellectual Property
13.1 All content, systems, software, branding, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with pretickit remain the exclusive property of pretickit.
13.2 Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, reverse engineering, or exploitation of platform assets is strictly prohibited.
13.2.1 Limited use is permitted solely for intended platform functionality and subject to these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms
14.1 pretickit reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice.
14.2 Continued use of the platform following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
